Virtual Seminar - Connecting the Dots: Old and New Resources for Discovering and Mapping Relationships

Stick around after the seminar for a round table discussion.  This will be a great time to share your experiences with relationship mapping, as well as a time to ask any questions that you may have.  Please feel free to bring materials to share with the group.

Later, take a break, enjoy summer and meet up with old friends!  Join us from 2:30 to 4:30 for appetizers (on us!) at The Contented Cow in Northfield.

Virtual Seminar Information

Virtual Seminar and Roundtable will be located at St. Olaf College, Buntrock Commons, room 142 (See below for map, directions, and lunch options.)  Virtual Seminar starts at 11:00 am.  The Roundtable will begin shortly after the seminar ends.

Speaker: Myra Norton
Learn how uncovering the true alumni leaders and their social networks helps institutions reach development and alumni engagement goals. Classify the natural leaders —as recognized by their peers — and leverage this knowledge to reach more donors, recruit the right leadership and improve overall alumni involvement and support. Maps which illustrate the connections of your alumni can guide you in better understanding who influences whom when it comes to making decisions about giving and volunteering time and resources. Discover the next generation of alumni who will play the essential roles of supporters and advocates by analyzing their social networks.

Buntrock Commons is the building labeled 3 on the map.  Parking is free and there is a large parking lot adjacent to Buntrock Commons.
Lunch options include:  The Cage in Buntrock Commons offering salads, deli sandwiches and daily lunch specials as well as coffee, beverages and baked goods.
Taco Bell and Subway are located at the intersection of Highway 19 and Highway 3.  McDonalds, Culvers, Wendys, and Arbys are all on Highway 3 south of Highway 19.
Because most of the College closes at noon on Fridays, the Cage will be closed at 1 p.m. the day of the seminar.
