Keynote:Leveraging Resources and Empowering Others
Are you utilizing the resources around your institution and in your office?  In this session we will identify and learn how to leverage resources available to institutions of all size, from the smallest budget and staff to the largest budget and staff.  In a resource constrained environment, learn creative ways to empower yourself, your colleagues and your organization..

Breakout Session 1
The Gray Area: Understanding Wealth That Isn’t Black and White
Regardless of your political affiliation, Mitt Romney’s tax returns gave researchers an inside view of the gray area of wealth. How can we take what we learn from this filing and apply the concepts to a broader prospect base? In this session we will review how to look differently at some of the tools researchers use on a regular basis. We will use individual examples to try to understand and explain what is going on “behind the curtain.” In this session we hope to explore how to develop the researcher “gut” and how to think holistically about prospects.

Breakout Session 2
The Real Wealth of New York City
New York City is home to some of the wealthiest people in the world. How do you find and understand their wealth? In this session, we will cover the complexities of NYC real estate undefined including the co-op mysteries undefined and define the lifestyles of these potential prospects. We will discuss the philanthropic and financial pressures of NYC wealth and how to present a strategic plan for fundraisers.

Panel/Group Discussion
How to empower others so we can spend our time doing more strategic, in-depth research and how to demonstrate the value we bring by doing that type of research.
